Navro Europe appoints Tracey Gernon as chief risk officer

Navro Europe, the fintech firm that simplifies global payments for high-growth businesses, today announces the appointment of Tracey Gernon as Chief Risk Officer (CRO).

Gernon brings extensive experience in risk management, compliance, and financial services technology to Navro, where she will play a crucial role at the company’s Irish headquarters overseeing a robust risk framework for its international operations.

Gernon's immediate priorities at Navro include strengthening proactive risk management practices across all areas of the business as it expands internationally. She will also focus on implementing industry best practices and work closely with regulatory authorities to shape Navro’s risk posture in response to existing and incoming legislation, such as GDPR, AML and CFT Directives, and PSD3.

Prior to her appointment at Navro, Gernon held senior risk management roles at the Irish operations of a number of international financial services businesses, including Paysend and Utmost. Her experience in managing IT governance and cyber-risk will be key in harnessing innovative tools and systems to enhance risk identification and mitigation.
