BUX appoints Marcel Jongmans as chairman

BUX Holding, the holding company behind the leading mobile investment platform BUX, immediately appoints Marcel Jongmans as its new chairman.

With extensive experience in leadership and strategic vision, Jongmans will guide BUX Holding into the next phase.

As a former Global CEO and board member at ABN AMRO Clearing Bank and CFO and board member at Flow Traders, Jongmans brings a wealth of experience and expertise, particularly in the financial services sector, to the BUX Board of Directors.

We are confident that Marcel will play a central role in continuing BUX’s success and will assist us with the major organizational changes which are accompanied by the divestments of a number of our most important subsidiaries, the most notable of which is the acquisition of BUX by ABN AMRO.”

Organizational changes

Marcel Jongmans is enthusiastic about joining the Board of Directors of BUX Holding. Jongmans: “I am honored to take on the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors at BUX Holding. I believe in the company’s mission and I look forward to working closely with the Board of Directors, Management Team and employees to further guide BUX in its organizational changes in the field of retail investing.”

Jongmans succeeds founder Nick Bortot, who has fulfilled this role admirably. Bortot remains involved as an observer of the Board of Directors.
