UK ATM test and development systems vendor Level Four Software, has appointed Jan Bateman as operations director.
In her new role Bateman will manage Level Four's UK and European operations and will be based at the company's new headquarters in Dunfermline, Scotland.
She will be responsible for Level Four's research and development practice as well as the day-to-day management of operations including installations, support and the help-desk.
Bateman previously spent 17 years working for Logica, joining the consultancy practice in 1986 and conducting a range of assignments for clients in finance, government and manufacturing.
Since 1995 she has held a variety of line management roles including delivery manager for Logica's payments and electronic banking unit. Bateman was most recently delivery manager, Scotland for the financial services division. At the same time, she held the role of operations support manager for Edinburgh.
Prior to joining Logica, Bateman worked for two technology start-ups and an IT services company.
