Pittsburg-based mortgage technology vendor Basis100 has appointed Edward Hartman as chief financial officer.
Hartman was most recently vice president of finance and business development at Breen Energy Solutions, an environmental solutions company based in Pittsburgh.
Prior to this, he was executive vice president of finance and business development for the National Hockey League's Buffalo Sabres. He began his career at Price Waterhouse.
In his new role, Hartman will assume responsibility for Basis100's overall financial strategy, risk management, investor relations, as well as all accounting and reporting functions. He will report directly to president and chief executive officer Joseph Murin.
