Toronto-based mortgage technology vendor Basis100 has promoted Chris Gowen to vice president of direct sales and operations.
In his new role, Gowen will direct US sales objectives and initiatives and manage Basis100's customer service and data operations groups. He replaces Bryan Horn who has left the company.
Formerly vice president of client services, Gowen joined Basis100 in December 2002.
He was previously at Merrill Lynch Credit Corporation (MLCC) where he held a number of roles including VP, operational risk, VP, closing and quality control and VP, lending services. Prior to this he was a tax manager at Price Waterhouse and a senior tax consultant at Ernst & Young.
