More than a dozen US banks have signed up with Metavante and Onyx Software for their integrated branch automation and customer relationship management applications.
The Enterprise Contact Management (ECM) solution integrates Onyx CRM components with Metavante core processing applications.
The vendors cite Provident Bankshares of Baltimore, Wichita's Intrust Bank, Bank of Marin in California, Park Bank of Milwaukee, and New York state's Astoria Financial Corporation as ECM clients. In total, Metavante is reporting orders for 3000 individual ECM application users in a dozen-plus financial institutions.
Patrick London, SVP & relationship development manager, Bank of Marin says the ECM solution from Metavante "enables us to quickly identify and offer the right products and services to meet our customer's needs".
Metavante is part of Onyx's Embedded CRM initiative, an XML component-based web-services model that enables partners to deliver CRM tailored to specific customer segments and needs. Other partners include IBM and Getronics.
