Bank of America has contracted with Orga Card Systems for the supply of disposable smart cards for military trainees.
The store-of-value Visa cards will be issued to raw recruits at selected US Army and Air Force bases as a cash advance against their first payroll payment. The trainees can use the cards at various merchant locations on the military bases to pay for products and services such as food, toiletries, and haircuts.
