NCR's latest Aptra Edge release has been certified for use in the US Star ATM network operated by Concord EFS.

Windows-based Aptra Edge Release 2.0 supports Triple DES encryption requirements for enhanced keyboard and PIN security and advanced voice guidance, and features embedded campaign management software.

Phil Kasper, assistant vice president of marketing for NCR's financial solutions division in the Americas, says certification across all ATM networks is a critical factor in integrating the channel with other banking resources and promoting uptake of advanced self-service software.
