Fortis Investments has signed a three-year contract to use Radianz's IP-based global financial extranet to provide its brokers with Financial Information eXchange (FIX) connectivity.
RadianzNet is currently connected to more than 9000 institutions worldwide. The system will be used by Fortis to transmit orders to its brokers.
Chris Church, Radianz's executive vice president and head of global sales and marketing, says the network can support systems, processes and business plans: "Fortis Investments' use of our existing infrastructure will be far more efficient than buying and waiting for new bandwidth from a common telecoms carrier to be installed."
