Singer & Friedlander Investment Management has subscribed to a number of QuoteTerminals, the Internet-based market data system from Knowledge Technology Solutions PLC (KTS), for use in its London, Leeds and Birmingham offices.

QuoteTerminal offers lower-cost Web-based access to premium news, data and analysis from sources such as Interactive Data Corporation, Dow Jones Newswires, RNS and AFX News.

Richard Curry, chief operating officer of Singer & Friedlander Investment Management comments: "We have been looking for a cost-effective market data service and found that QuoteTerminal compares favourably with alternative products from other providers. We are impressed by its functionality, usability and speed; most fund managers who have trialled the product have elected to take it."

Singer & Friedlander joins recent signings Williams de Broë, Royal London Asset Management and Prudential-Bache Limited as QuoteTerminal clients.

Marc Pinter-Krainer, chief executive of KTS, says: "We're now experiencing real momentum in the number of companies choosing QuoteTerminal for their market data needs. It’s encouraging to see QuoteTerminal competing successfully against products from other providers and proving itself as a worthy alternative for so many top City firms."
