US-based optionsXpress, an online brokerage for self-directed investors, has signed a new two year contract with HyperFeed Technolgies for the Managed Exchange Platform Services (MEPS) market data product.
OptionsXpress has been using Hyperfeed's market data technology for three years and options traders can log onto its Web site to access the vendor's real-time streaming data.
HyperFeed says its exchange data feed can transmit complete options strings and produce in-depth delayed options data.
Users of the optionXpress service can also access snapshot and delayed information using online trading tools.
David Kalt, president of optionsXpress, says: "Combining HyperFeed's fast data and complete options chains with our innovative online trading tools gives a tremendous edge to our customers."
