Netherlands-based market data technology vendor MarketXS is to distribute Dow Jones Newswires content as the primary news source on its Pro Windows terminals in the Benelux region.
Under the deal, MarketXS will automatically deliver either Dow Jones' Nieuwsdienst service, a real-time, Dutch-language newswire that was launched last year and covers markets in Holland, or the Dow Jones European Corporate Report which is an English-language service covering the European equities markets.
Floris Alkemade, chief executive officer of MarketXS, says the bundling agreement will help customers to substantially reduce market data costs.
MarketXS says other newswires from Dow Jones will be available to customers as optional services.
