Norwegian independent payment service provider Paynet has selected Arcot International's TransFort package to deliver both Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode authentication services to its e-merchant customers.
Paynet is the first payment service provider in Norway to support both the MasterCard SecureCode and Verified by Visa schemes.
Arcot's Transfort software initiates and manages the authentication process for both programmes and includes verfication and secure payment solutions for issuers, processors, merchants and merchant aggregators.
Elis Nemes, president, Arcot International, says the implementation will boost the e-commerce market by providing individual shoppers with increased confidence when shopping online.
