James Hay revamps Web site

James Hay Pension Trustees, Abbey National's specialist pensions provider, has revamped its Web site to provide intermediaries with online access to real time client information and Self Invested Personal Plan (Sipps) account management.

IFAs and intermediaries logging on to the site will be able to manage Sipps accounts via a new secure e-mail facility and to register changes to a member's income level, update routine changes such as addresses and instruct the James Hay investment centre to buy and sell funds, in addition to existing services such as transaction reports and valuations.

Jan Regnart, Managing Director, Sipp Division, says: "I believe this latest update will make a positive and material difference to the way intermediaries administer their clients' funds."

James Hay Online launched in February 2002 and has around 30,000 plans available to view and the site currently has over 1000 registered users.

Future improvements planned for the site include a data mining facility, which will allow intermediaries to search clients' records and produce a schedule of all those who hold investments in a particular fund or have triennial reviews coming up.
