London-based consultancy The Buttonwood Tree Group has appointed Michelle Morris to the management team of its technical solutions division working on market data projects.
In her new role, Morris joins the team developing the firm's Market Data Optimisation (MDO) outsourcing service, due to be launched at the end of April.
Morris was previously director of market data at BrokerTec Europe and has worked at a number of market data vendors, including Dow Jones Telerate and Knight Ridder Financial.
She also held a consulting role at Coleman Bennett International (CBI).
