Under the contract, Thomson will supply MJSK with 125 One Advisor and "numerous" One Equity customised desktop applications. Both modules are components of the Thomson One platform, which integrates market data from a range of sources onto a single platform.

Thomson says the Web-based One Advisor delivers personalised investment advice. The product includes asset allocation, financial planning and an investment centre and will enable MJSK to design, implement and monitor clients' investment strategies and provide wealth management advice.

The vendor's equity module incorporates analytical measurement, research, communications and messaging tools and will provide users with a broad view of the institutional equity markets.

Matthew Kyler, executive vice president, sales and marketing at MJSK, says "In today's challenging environment, coming up with consistently good investment advice is critical. These two product suites will help our advisors gain an advantage in offering their clients informed, strategic advice on their investments."
