Institutional broker Prebon Yamane has gone live with Syntegra's ITS voice trading technology at over 30 dealer positions in its new trading room in Sydney.
The new technology replaces an older Syntegra system, installed at Prebon in 1992.
Syntegra says the trading floor has been equipped with its ITS pV405 turrets running on Release 13 and pVs81i eight way speakers, which are supported by an ITS p51 platform, designed specifically for medium-sized trading floors. Syntegra's ITSlink computer telephony integration (CTI) software will link customer details, trade history and portfolio information to both inbound and outbound calls.
The vendor also implemented voice recording technology from Nice and a Meridian PABX from Nortel Networks.
In addition, Prebon Yamane has signed a three year managed services agreement with Syntegra for the supply, maintenance and support of all voice technologies in the trading room.
