The number of users supported by each p31 can be increased to 64 with shared links. By using the vendor's Campus ITS technology to connect up to four p31 systems across different locations, the capacity can be increased to 128 turrets.

Rod MacDonald, managing director for trading systems at Syntegra, says the p31 offers the full functionality of the larger ITS platforms: "The p31 benefits from the powerful management and support capabilities of ITS Software Release 15, including full remote configuration, administration, monitoring and diagnostics."

Turrets can connect to the p31 via Voice over IP or MegaLink networks, enabling remote connection over the customer Wide Area Network.

Syntegra says the p31 can be configured to meet the voice needs of any trading floor, supporting combinations of up to 96 analog lines and five digital trunks. In addition, the platform has conferencing and intercom capabilities and incorporates an intercom for turret users both on and off the floor.
