London financial software firm City Networks has appointed Andy Gershon as sales manager for Asia.
Gershon joins the 30-strong team based at the vendor's Hong Kong office.
He joins City Networks from Midas-Kapiti International (MKI) - formed after Misys acquired Kapiti in 1994 - where he was regional sales manager, Greater China Region, based in Hong Kong.
Prior to this role, Gershon worked in Kapiti's Emea sales, new business sales and UK account management teams.
He previously worked in the UK as a stockbroker and options trader at Chase Manhattan Bank and the London Stock Exchange.
