STP vendor SmartStream Technologies has appointed Jeremy O'Dwyer to head up its UK corporate actions sales team in London.
The appointment of O'Dwyer in this newly created position follows the vendor's acquisition of US corporate actions firm Effective Solutions Inc.
O'Dwyer most recently worked for the consulting businesses of IBM, Oracle and Cap Gemini Ernst & Young. Prior to this he was at Flemings (now part of JPMorgan) and worked in the IT department of Banque Nationale de Paris (now BNP Paribas).
In his new role, O'Dwyer will drive SmartStream's transactions lifecycle management (TLM) corporate actions business development, working alongside business analyst and former ABN Amro corporate actions manager Paul Phillips and reporting to European regional director Mark Cappell.
