France-based performance management software vendor Almonde has opened a new corporate headquarters in London, which will be headed by recently-recruited regional director for northern and central Europe, Jason Nabi.
Nabi comes to Almonde from risk management software vendor Algorithmics. Prior to this he worked at IBM Consulting and Bloomberg.
He will be joined in London by Sunil Rajan, another former Algorithmics man, and David Shaw, whose career includes stints at Barclays Bank, Scotiabank, advisor to National Bank of Poland and ALM consulting for KPMG and ALM Research.
The vendor's flagship product Almonde 4 provides the ability to analyse and manage the margins, risks and costs of products, customers and business units across organisations. The company is also working on a new solution to help banks comply with the Basel II accord.
The two-year old company is coming to London on the back of a successful 2002 in France with five customer wins, an increase in employees from 12 to over 30 and new investment from Benchmark Capital and CIBC.
