New York-based market data management firm The Roberts Group (TRG) is expanding into the European financial marketplace with the opening of a new London office.
TRG Europe will assume sales and support responsibilities for all European implementations of the its financial information tracking system (Fits).
The London office will be run locally by Alan Covall, director of European business development, and Carol Covall, director of European operations.
Alan Covall joins TRG from Reuters, where he was sales director for global accounts.
Carol Covall was previously a consultant in the market data cost and inventory management space. She has also worked at Reuters as an account executive, UK sales.
Over the last year, TRG has completed a global Fits implementation at JP Morgan Chase. The vendor has also expanded the deployment of the system at ABN Amro and Bear Stearns to cover the banks' London operations.
In addition, TRG says it has added two more clients to its European roster.
