Citi Cards has launched Use Credit Wisely, a new credit education programme and Web site offering advice and money management tools to consumers of all ages to improve their fiscal fitness.
The launch of the usecreditwisely.com Web site follows recent research from Wharton Strategic Services which found that more than 90% of consumers agree with the statement: "Most Americans don't know how to use credit wisely".
"Being informed on how credit works and how it can work for you is like a work-out for your finances," says Citi Card's Bill Borden, senior VP, new product and business development.
The site offers tips on maintaining good credit, gaining financial control and fraud prevention alonside useful budgeting tools and calculators.
