IPC forms strategic accounts group

Trading technology vendor IPC Information Systems, has announced the formation of a strategic accounts group within its global sales organisation which will focus on helping its multi-site customers plan and manage trading floor infrastructures.
IPC has appointed Michael DeBlock, who has been with the company for 20 years, as senior vice president of the new group. DeBlock will be based in Chicago and will oversee the firm's global team of strategic account managers.
He will report to Michael Sheehan, who has been named managing director of global sales.
The company has also appointed Dennis Gendreau as vice president of sales in the Americas region. Based in Boston, Gendreau will be responsible for trading systems sales and operations, with the exception of New York City, which is led by Al Pigliacelli.
Both Gendreau and Pigliacelli will report to Anthony Scimeca, managing director of the Americas region.
