Commerzbank has deployed NetScout's nGenius Performance Management System to assure the performance of a new, gigabit-speed network supporting its trading floor in Frankfurt.
The German bank says it selected nGenius for real-time performance monitoring, management, and troubleshooting as well as for network capacity planning. The project was managed through NetScout's pan-Germany reseller partner, GE CompuNet.
Zeljko Smetko, vice president of network support, IT production of Commerzbank says the NetScout solution helps the bank to proactively identify network anomalies and resolve problems faster than before.
"NetScout provides in-depth views into networked application performance, helping us better manage availability and application response-time while offering us the chance to manage service levels, end-to-end," he says. "Its capacity planning capabilities provide us the opportunity to save money, because we can more accurately anticipate future bandwidth requirements."
