Thomson Financial has launched Dataworks Plus, a Web-based module that allows market data users and systems administrators at investment firms to create and download custom data files.
Thomson Financial says Dataworks Plus, part of its Dataworks suite of products, enables users to define data items to be included in either customised or pre-defined reports. These may be generated at the stock or portfolio level.
Nick Pastoressa, senior vice president, Thomson Financial's investment management group, says the package is designed to walk users through the navigation process, making it easy to use with no investment in infrastructure or training.
He adds: "Dataworks Plus enables users to access integrated, premium data from Thomson Financial and third parties to generate custom files comprised of only the specific data they need, when they need it and in the file format of their choice."
Users of Web-based research service First Call Analyst can also utilise the module to access portfolios and screening criteria.
