The American Stock Exchange and First Traders Analytical Solutions have announced the launch of Total Access Options (TAO), the first exchange-marketed desktop product able to execute trades at all five US options exchanges.
TAO, which is to be marketed by the Exchange, displays the underlying quote information and associated option chains for every expiration month and every strike. By clicking on a desired bid or ask quote, users are able to modify a pre-populated order ticket and are immediately notified of an order’s execution time, price and quantity. The real-time quote data updates throughout the trading day.
Michael Bickford, senior vice president of Options, American Stock Exchange, says TAO will enable users to decrease execution times and costs and better manage order flow and desktop real estate.
The application can be downloaded from the First Traders Web site and installed on a desktop PC.
