CPR selects ISS for proxy voting

Editorial

This content has been selected, created and edited by the Finextra editorial team based upon its relevance and interest to our community.

VoteX is a Web-based platform that enables fund managers to access meeting information, including research and voting recommendations. The platform automatically updates CPR's portfolio to reflect any changes.

The system also allows straight-through processing (STP) to be applied to proxy voting.

Jean-François Griveaud, COO, CPR, says: "By using ISS's voting expertise and technologically advanced platform, we can better exercise our fiduciary responsibilities without having to add costly internal resources."

"It makes it easy to vote. It's a systematic approach that removes the nightmare of the masses of paper involved in handling proxies," adds Griveaud.
