Crédit Agricole Indosuez Cheuvreux (CAI Cheuvreux) is to provide institutional investors with FIX-compliant access to its electronic brokerage service via global financial extranet RadianzNet.
RadianzNet will enable institutions in Europe, Asia and the US to perform-exchange-based trades with CAI Cheuvreux using the Financial Information Exchange (FIX) protocol, the front office standard for communicating indication of interest or IOIs, orders, executions, allocation and settlement instructions.
Jerry Lees, head of marketing, execution services, CAI Cheuvreux, says the network will speed up time to market as the company can use RadianzNet's existing global infrastructure, including connections to financial institutions.
He adds: "No financial organisation can afford to wait months for a teleco to install network infrastructure."
New York-based Lexit Capital and InvestNet in Milan, Italy, will be among the first to connect to CAI Cheuvreux via RadianzNet.
