Luottokunta, the Finnish card payments cooperative owned jointly by merchants and banks, has gone live with CR2's CardWorld Acquirer processing system.
The solution manages authorisation, routing, capture and settlement of Visa, Eurocard and Mastercard transactions from merchant systems. It will be used by the Finnish acquirer and issuer to provide full multi-currency, cross-border processing service for internationally-oriented business customers, such as Finnair.
