Visa EU is to use Nomad Software's Cortex package as the integration platform for its new P2P cross border money transfer system.
Visa EU announced plans earlier this month to use technology from Brussels-based start-up Clear2Pay to build a new P2P cross-border money transfer system. The service, which will be in place by the end of 2002, will allow Visa cardholders to transfer funds directly from card to card.
Nomad won the back-end integration contract in competition with other vendors.
