The new office, based in Dubai's Internet City, will work closely with Nomads’ six existing Middle Eastern clients and expand the company’s offering throughout the region.

The new operation will be headed by Ali Kanouni who joins Nomad from Aspidex Technologies Ltd in Dubai where he was head of consultancy services. He has previously held senior positions in Dubai with CommerceOne, Compaq, and Casablanca with Acer Computer ME Ltd.

James Stevenson, CEO of Nomad Software, comments: "The Middle Eastern financial services sector is in a state of rapid growth and development. We view this market as extremely important for our business."
