FIX Protocol Limited (FPL) has hired US financial services consultancy Jordan & Jordan to provide dedicated resources to supplement and support volunteer activities as the front office messaging protocol extends its reach.
The appointment of Jordan & Jordan is part of a restructuring initiative designed to address the changing needs of the FIX community as the protocol expands across instruments and markets at different rates of development.
Alan Line, of the FIX European Steering Committee, says: "The strength of FPL is the commitment of its membership. Through these efforts FPL will further its mission of supporting the development and adoption of FIX to meet the industry’s pre-trade though pre-settlement needs."
