Deutsche Börse to launch analytical data service

The new interactive information product is a database application based on the StatistiX data warehouse designed and developed by the German exchange. This bundles trading information from a variety of exchange-trading marketplaces and systems for consolidation into a central database.

The first application to be rolled out is StatistiX Info Cube Ranking - an interactive database solution for the analysis of securities trading flows. It contains all trading volumes for a given market participant and the trading volumes of all market participants, down to the individual securities level.
The database includes the flow of data on trading volumes from Xetra and the floor of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (FWB Frankfurter Wertpapierbörse).

Subscribers will be able to see their daily trading activity in equities, warrants and bonds in relation to the market as a whole. The Web-based service will be formally launched on Monday, 16 September.

Deutsche Börse says the scope of the StatistiX data warehouse will be continually extended to include new data sources and analytical products.
