Lehman Brothers introduces exchange order routing system

Editorial

This content has been selected, created and edited by the Finextra editorial team based upon its relevance and interest to our community.

LehmanLive Links allows Lehman clients to trade US domestic and European securities routing automatically via electronic connections to major stock exchanges. Clients can execute single orders or baskets, uploading order details from data files and spreadsheets. Customers may also use the system to monitor trade execution, access real-time pricing and generate activity reports for straight through processing.

The new system was built using Random Walk’s Wolf platform, a reusable Java-based framework for deploying real-time financial applications.

The open architecture of the Wolf platform allows for customisation of user interfaces and for ease of integration with existing IT infrastructure says Andrew Freeman, Random Walk’s senior engagement manager for the Lehman project.
