Financial technology vendor Safe Banking Systems has appointed former employee Mark Schiffer as CFO.

In his new role, Schiffer will initially focus on strategic business development, managing the growth and future direction of the company.

Schiffer has previously worked at Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, Deutsche Bank and Goldman, Sachs & Co.

New York-based SBS provides a range of portfolio solutions for banks and financial institutions, including real-time and static OFAC and other blocked entities list monitoring, an interactive anti-money laundering query and reporting system, and middleware and reconciliation.
