Money Centre will provide registered users with access to retail banking products from a number of product providers, as well as an advice and information section on financial issues. The new service from the Australian life provider AMP also features consumer polls on key issues relating to a particular product.

Chris Bratchford, head of Ample, comments: "Whilst the core of Ample’s service remains investment-focused, we saw the Money Centre as a complementary way to add more value and convenience for our customers. Even active day-traders need home and contents insurance."

The product areas and the relevant broker service or product provider are:
* mortgages - Charcol Online;
* life insurance - Direct Life & Pensions Services;
* home insurance - Hiscox;
* car insurance - its4me;
* travel insurance - Money Supermarket;
* savings - Money Supermarket;
* credit cards - Money Supermarket;
* loans - Money Supermarket;
* energy, phone & dTV - uSwitch.com; and
* banking - Zurich Bank.

The company says more products will be added over time.
