Thomson Financial has appointed Microsoft man Jeremy Lehman as senior vice president and head of technology for the firm's investment management group.
Lehman will be responsible for leading the global applications development activities of the investment management group, including Thomson's First Call, I/B/E/S, Datastream, Vestek, Portia, Icon, Nelson Information, Baseline, the Oneva suite and the recently launched First Call Analyst brands.
He will report directly to Suresh Kavan, president of the investment management group.
Prior to joining Thomson Financial, Lehman served as chief technologist, capital markets for Microsoft Corporation. He also worked for Deloitte & Touche.
Thomson has recently been active revamping its product line to work with Microsoft's .NET Web services platform.
