Under the agreement, Experian will offer Yodlee's permission-based account aggregation solution to its existing direct-to-consumer services at www.experian.com and its affiliate sites. Customers will be able to view, access and manage all of their financial accounts on one personalised Web page.

In turn, Yodlee will incorporate Experian's credit management services into its network of aggregation services with financial institutions and portals. These include personal credit reports, credit scores, debt management tools and extensive credit education. Customers will also be alerted of any new activities on their credit file as a key preventive measure against identity theft.

Anil Arora, Yodlee president and chief executive officer, says: "Credit management, combined with account aggregation, which allows consumers to understand and manage their current financial lives, makes this a best-of-breed solution that allows consumers to most effectively control their financial future."

Alton Adams, president of database solutions for Experian, adds: "By virtue of this strategic alignment, Experian becomes the first credit information provider to offer this powerful financial management tool to consumers."
