Webster is charged with driving the company's bid to diversify its client reach from capital markets to private client, asset management and corporate banking services. The position is a new one with Capco in the US, replicating a role already undertaken in the UK by Andrew Stewart.

He says much of the division's focus will be on industry-wide infrastructure efforts to build new cross-border payments systems.

He will report to Bill Irving, president of Capco.

Webster was formerly a partner in PricewaterhouseCooper’s global financial services consulting practice and co-led the bank operations consulting practice.
