Abbey National's standalone interactive bank cahoot has signed an extended software management services agreement with First Data Corp.
cahoot currently uses First Data subsidiary PaySys International's VisionPlus transaction processing software for its credit card portfolio. The card solution offers new account processing, merchant acquisition, cardholder billing and management, collections, risk management and promotions and co-branding capabilities.
Under the new agreement, PaySys will provide onsite technical support to assist cahoot with software release upgrades, mandated compliance changes, and enhancement requirements.
Tim Murley, managing director of cahoot, says: "Using First Data's software management services and the VisionPlus solution to manage our credit card portfolio enables us to concentrate wholly on banking policy and not be distracted by IT issues and concerns."
