Screentrade enters personal lending arena

28 May 2002  |  792 views  |  0 Screentrade enters personal lending arena

Screentrade, the online insurance brand owned by Lloyds TSB, has launched a new Web-based loan finder service to enable customers to shop around for best value deals on the Internet.

Screentrade Loan Finder can be found at www.screentrade.co.uk. The service compares the prices of a panel of over 400 loans for amounts between £500 and £25,000. It also matches suitable payment protection policies where required allowing the customer to compare and contrast different prices and make an educated and informed choice. Once a suitable quote comes up, the customer can apply online for an immediate decision.

Nigel Lombard, chief operating officer, Screentrade, explains: "People understand the importance of shopping around for a good deal, but not everyone has the time or knows where to look. Screentrade offers a quick and easy way to take the legwork and the guesswork out of getting value for money. We’ve done it for insurance, now we’re doing it for personal lending."
