Swedish trading technology vendor OM has appointed four new executives to its sales and marketing team in a bid to boost sales of its OneWorld Corporate Actions standalone solution.
Chris Freeman and Christina Nordbladh have been appointed senior sales executives in the corporate actions sales and marketing team. Freeman joins OM from ACT Financial Systems. He has also worked for Dart, LMT and DEC.
Prior to joining OM, Nordbladh held key sales and marketing positions at Aleri (formerly MPCT Solutions) and the Trema Group.
Jenny Blake has been named senior sales consultant in the team. She previously worked for Wilco International, ACT Financial Systems and Synopsys.
Mark Lawfull joins the team as senior business consultant. Prior to OM, Lawfull worked for Merrill Lynch, Lehman Brothers International, Nomura International and SBC Warburg.
OM's OneWorld Corporate Actions system automates the corporate actions process, reducing the manual effort spent processing a corporate action by up to 60 per cent, says the company. Key attributes include a robust exception system, the ability to dynamically monitor positions and terms throughout the event lifecycle, and full multicurrency and multi-market support.
