Barclays Capital has signed up to offer its proprietary research over the researchsummary.com financial portal.
The bank will provide professional investors with real-time access to executive summaries covering fixed income, equities, debt, derivatives, strategy, economics and currencies through the researchsummary.com portal.
Other investment banks using the portal to promote analyst research include ABN Amro, ING Financial Markets, HSBC, Credit Lyonnais Securities, WestLB Panmure and MTS Research. Further signings are expected from leading US and European brokers over the second quarter of 2002.
Fund managers using the portal can study and organise the summaries of thousands of investment reports received weekly as well as search the Web for related reports and data on these same companies.
