FX dealing system vendor Cognotec has named Patrick Lim, the former head of global e-business at Standard Chartered, as director of business development - Asia Region.
In his new role, Lim will be responsible for managing Cognotec clients in the region and will manage the dublin-based company's operations outside of Japan and Korea.
Lim comes to Cognotec from Standard Chartered Bank in Singapore, where he was most recently responsible for managing their global e-business. Prior to that, he managed the bank's Asia trading operations and corporate sales activities.
