BrokerageAmerica has appointed veteran trader Peter Battaglia as vice president of broker/dealer sales.
Battaglia joins the online brokerage from NDB Capital Markets, a division of Deutsche Bank, where he was initially hired to launch the firm's broker/dealer sales department five years ago. He has also worked for Troster Singer.
Commenting on his decision to join BrokerageAmerica, Battaglia says: "As a relatively young firm with a successful track record, its potential for growth is limitless. Most important, BrokerageAmerica's commitment to becoming an industry leader in market making and stock execution fits with my own goal of building another, extremely strong broker/dealer operation."
