Eontec opens JavaBanking component repository

Ireland's Eontec has launched JavaBanking.com, a central repository of the EJB banking processes underlying the vendor's BankFrame suite of products.

The site aims to provide comprehensive information on BankFrame's process assembly methodology Ethos and an online library of more than 400 banking processes to cut, paste and assemble solutions.

The site offers multiple project views and an online gap analysis feature so that bank users may compare BankFrame's process functionality against their own requirements. JavaBanking.com also aims to provide a forum where systems integrators and banks can discuss BankFrame's processes and use with Eontec's technical experts.

"Using a building block approach and based on true multi-channel architecture, JavaBanking.com allows users to assemble individual units into a scalable solution delivered across multiple channels," says John Randles, chief technical officer for Eontec.

Over the coming months, Eontec will host JavaBanking.com roadshows in Dublin, London, Frankfurt, Stockholm and Charlotte, N.C., offering an opportunity for systems integrators and inhouse banking developers to see a live demonstration of the BankFrame and JavaBanking.com solution and delivery mechanism firsthand.
