In his new role, van Ripper will be responsible for managing all sales, marketing, product, and business development activities. Additionally, all trading and back office functions will report to him.

Van Ripper most recently was global head of sales and account management at Instinet. He has also worked at Bear Stearns & Co., ITG and Knight-Ridder Financial.
