Dr Jungho Kang has resigned as president & CEO of the Kosdaq Stock Market with immediate effect, to take up appointment as chairman and CEO of the Korea Futures Exchange.
Kang succeeds In Won Lee who announced his retirement last December.
During his tenure as CEO of the Kosdaq Stock Market, the exchange underwent a number of structural changes in a bid to improve output and efficiency.
Prior to serving as chief executive of the Kosdaq Stock Market, Kang held a number of senior posts at the Ministry of Finance.
Hwan Kyun Park, senior managing director of Kosdaq, will assume executive responsibility, until a new CEO is found.
