Encompys, the straight-through processing joint venture company, has taken delivery of an integration platform infrastructure based on Microsoft's BizTalk Server.
Encompys has been established by Accenture, Advent, Compaq, Microsoft and The Bank of New York, to provide asset managers with an outsourced solution for achieving STP.
The new platform, jointly supplied by software vendor Avanade and Accenture, is projected to cut operational costs by as much as 30 percent by linking customer relationship management (CRM), pre-trade, trade, and post-trade applications, says the company.
The BizTalk Server acts as the hub for all enterprise information routing. BizTalk Server uses XML to connect disparate legacy systems across the enterprise.
Michael Lane, chief marketing officer at Encompys, comments: "Avanade's depth of Microsoft expertise and its close relationship with Accenture ensured that we could deliver the most relevant product to the marketplace."
